World Congress of Semiotics / IASS-AIS
Dear colleagues,
We inform you that the submission of Congress papers for inclusion in the e- Proceedings has started on December 1, 2022, and will last till May 31, 2023. The submission will be made through the Congress website (https://www.semioticsworld.com/news).
In preparing their papers for submission authors need to follow the guidelines set out in the Stylesheet used for the 2019 IASS/AIS Congress in Buenos Aires (available on the Congress website https://www.semioticsworld.com/news).
Analytically, the basic conditions for publishing in the e-Proceedings are as follows:
a. Authors/Co-authors must take care to submit papers which follow the guidelines and have been meticulously edited and proofread, especially if they write in their non-native language. If these conditions are not met, authors will be asked to revise and resubmit. Post-publication changes are not possible.
b. Multi-author manuscripts cannot be considered for publication in the Proceedings unless all involved authors have paid their Congress registration fees [Note: authors who did not participate in the Congress – either in-person nor virtually – pay half the normal registration fee + IASS/AIS membership fee (if not already paid directly to the IASS/AIS)]
c. An author/co-author can submit up to 2 different papers.
d. By submitting a paper to the Congress organizer authors/co-authors are assumed to grant a worldwide perpetual royalty free exclusive licence to IASS/AIS to use the copyright in the paper for the full term of copyright in all ways otherwise restricted by copyright, including, but not limited to, the right to reproduce, distribute and communicate the article to the public under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence (creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 or any newer version of the licence)
Best wishes, Gregory Paschalidis Chair of the Congress Organizing Committee
